I have an extensive international experience than more of 20 years over micro-organisms for the food industrie (dairy, meat, beverages) and in probiotics for heath (Food supplements and OTC products).

I'm the leader of the Bion® and Multibionta® International R&D projects to support research into micro-organisms that may be beneficial to health.

I'm leading the major collaborative basic research programmes in microbiology and probiotic for health from strain sreening to clinical evidences of the health benefices.

I'm member of the scientific committee of the Taste Nutrition and Health International Congress of the Vitagora cluster.

    Darmstadt 2007 - 2009 Merck Médication Familiale, laboratoire pharmaceutique du groupe Merck KGaA, développe des produits pharmaceutiques, des produits dermocosmétiques ainsi que des compléments nutritionnels et des médicaments de phytothérapie pour une mission de santé nouvelle : la médecine complémentaire.
    Les deux métiers de Merck Médication Familiale sont la dermocosmétique et la médecine complémentaire.
    Chiffre d'Affaire de 111 M€.

    2001 - 2007 Cargill (ex Degussa Ferments d’Aromatisation France) : Société du groupe Cargill qui développe, produit et commercialise des micro-organismes (ferments) pour l’industrie alimentaire et l’agrobiologie. Chiffre d’affaire de 11 millions d’Euros.

    - Elaboration, en relation étroite avec les services commerciaux, de la stratégie d’innovation et de développement des produits et des procédés de production.
    - Veille et actions réglementaires et mise en conformité des produits et des procédés.
    - Formalisation de la stratégie d’innovation et de développement en projets. Gestion des priorités.
    - Coordination et suivi de la réalisation des projets. Synthèse et diffusion des résultats.
    - Mise en place et coordination des partenariats scientifiques et technologiques externes (I.N.R.A., Universités, Centres Techniques, Clients,…).
    - Elaboration et mise en œuvre de la politique de communication scientifique et technique et du marketing scientifique en appui aux équipes commerciales.
    - Encadrement d’une équipe de quatre ingénieurs et de six techniciens dans quatre services :

    1992 - 2002 Dans le cadre d'un partenariat entre Bourgogne Technologie, le Laboratoire de Recherches Sur les Arômes de l'I.N.R.A. de Dijon et Degussa Ferments d’Aromatisation. Détaché au L.R.S.A.

    - Thème de recherche : aromatisation des aliments fermentés (fromages, salaison, …) par la microflore d’affinage.

    - Activités : Analyse sensorielle, Physico-chimie des arômes, Analyses statistiques des données, Microbiologie.

  • I.N.R.A. - Doctorat en Sciences des Aliments

    1992 - 1994 - Sujet de thèse : "Etude de la coopération entre Geotrichum candidum et Penicillium camemberti : impact sur le profil aromatique et sur les qualités organoleptiques d'un fromage de type camembert."
