Opening of the French branch of a UK based DMC (Destination Management Company). Smoozy France provides a first class Destination Management and Special Event services in France specialised in incentives, meetings and special interest groups and offer a comprehensive service providing bespoke solutions for
groups of all sizes. Groups to 10 to 900 guests.
Responsibilities:
* Administrative tasks for the creation of the French company (accounting, juridical files,
insurances ...)
* Development of a new client data base among the other Parisian DMCs on this market since
20 years (phone calls, sales trips, familiarization trips, cocktails, product launches ...)
* Creation of a Smoozy France philosophy and new way of work
* Creation of partnership with suppliers and national events such as the ``Prix de Diane'' in
Chantilly (horse race) to develop the reputation of the company
* Hotels/Restaurants/Venues/Activities/Suppliers sourcing in France
* Proposal / presentations to key clients ;
* Negotiating rates
* Contract management/negotiation ;
* Full operational & logistical responsibility for events
* Event management team (from 2 to 100) ;
* Project manager and free-lance management (from 2 to 9) ;
* Attending client meetings ;
* Parisian hotels ``educ tours/fam trip'' logistic with their key accounts (Starwood, Marriott,
Hilton Worldwide)
* Building and maintaining client relationships ;
* Building and maintaining supplier relationships
