    2011 - 2013 Working together with product development scientists to support the development of new innovative products and evaluate new technologies in gum confectionery formats (coated pellets, slabs, liquid/powder filled pellets and bubble-gums) including:
    o Coordinating and running lab trials
    o Assist product scientists in the pilot plant, ordering and organizing raw materials, prepare product trials and record observations
    o Prepare prototypes for evaluation and consumer testing
    o Conduct routine analytical analysis on gum such as water-activity, texture, hardness and density and set up and conduct product shelf-life studies
    o Create raw material specifications with external ingredient suppliers and formula specifications according to European and CEEMA regulatory requirements
    o Maintaining all laboratory and pilot plant facilities and ensuring compliance with established safety standards (GMP/HACCP/COSSH)
    o Maintaining the inventory of raw materials and general lab supplies
